The fine print
No catch. But here's what people ask.
Why per unit instead of per user?
Because closeout effort scales with units, not headcount. Per-user pricing creates a tax on adoption — your team starts gatekeeping seats, and the subs and developers who need to see status get locked out. Bluetape gives every stakeholder access for one flat project price.
Do subcontractors pay?
No. Subs use Bluetape for free as part of your project. Their crews can see their assigned items, mark them complete, and walk units with the system. Subs paying for software in 2026 is a non-starter — we know that.
What happens to my data after delivery?
You keep access for 12 months after CO so you can handle warranty walks and reference the project archive. After that, you can extend access for a small archive fee or export everything as PDF and structured data.
Can we pilot before paying full price?
Yes. For your first project with Bluetape, we offer a design-partner discount — typically 50% off — in exchange for weekly feedback during the project and willingness to be a reference if you'd recommend it. Let us know on the demo call.

Running a pipeline? Let's talk volume.
GCs and developers with three or more concurrent projects per year qualify for pipeline pricing — typically 20–30% off the per-unit rate, plus shared sub libraries, cross-project dashboards, and a dedicated success contact. Reach out for a custom quote.
